500+ staff vaccinated

Last week, 500 ROP employees have officially received their first dose of either the Pfizer or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine. More than 50 of those employees received their second dose last week, meaning that in 2 weeks, they will all be roughly 95% resistant to the most common strains of the novel coronavirus. Building confidence in vaccine safety and efficacy has been a central focus of ROP outreach in recent weeks; which includes our Be a LifeSaver Campaign as well as continued consultation with infectious disease expert, Dr. Paul Adler; our updated website; and a company-wide effort to ensure the facility sanitation, personal safety, and emotional well-being of ROP employees, youth, and family members.
